We are reaching out to you on behalf of keeping transformational art alive at “I Love Elephants” camp at Burning Man (arguably the most influential culture-shaping event in the world) this year.
As you may or may not know, SavingGanesh.org and Vedalife Vaishnava Society (the nonprofit wing that founded LA Wisdome, the foundational heart of Los Angeles’ new Art District) collaborated last year for the first time to bring the Immersion Dome to Burning Man — and it was a hit. And we graciously need your help to make it happen again.
This year, our camp has been awarded with nearly one acre of land on the Esplanade (at the 4:30 Portal). It is an absolute honor to be asked by BMorg to secure such a prime spot. This is a result of 20 years of participation by the camp’s founder — and exceptional standing with the Burning Man organization.
All organizations involved in this project take the Burning Man Principles very seriously — and we do not promote at Burning Man. We are reaching out for help so we can support the arts and help shape the world into a more loving, compassionate, and conscious place.
Vedalife’s Immersion Dome is a critical offering of the Camp, particularly its 360 Samskara projection film based on Android Jones’ art. This, and similar projections, offer transformative experiences to all who participate — blasting open hearts and minds to new expansiveness and possibilities. The world needs this!
Android’s art has been exhibited in DC at the Smithsonian and major galleries worldwide. (Please note that Android’s Samskara film was created by the company owned by Vedalife’s Founder.)
After last year’s Burn Man event, large numbers of Burners reported that “I Love Elephants” camp was their favorite. And, for good reason.
Unfortunately, financial hardship has recently hit the camp’s collaborating benefactors and they can no longer afford to bring the Dome back to the desert.
